The Wilmington facility is state of the art and can manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently, from residential to commercial.

Chris Barrett, Project Manager

Originally from the Washington, DC area and born into a Coast Guard family, Chris is a transplant to the Port City. He graduated from Cape Fear Community College in 2005 with an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Technology and began a career in residential design in Wilmington. With a little help from the housing market crash of 2008, Chris made the switch from residential design to cabinetry design.

His previous work experience with architects, designers, builders and homeowners provided him the necessary tools to be successful in the cabinetry industry. As the role of project manager, he manages entire projects from start to finish – from initial client meetings, through the design process and oversees shop fabrication. Chris is also adept in CAD/CAM software. His attention to detail is vital in the design drawing process and his ability to create custom pieces on the CNC is a valuable asset.

When he’s not at the cabinet shop, you can find him at the local beaches, on the Intracoastal Waterway or cheering on his favorite DC sports teams with his family.

Andrew Van Essendelft, Project Manager

Andrew Van Essendelft, originally from the Midwest, made Wilmington his home in 2019. He graduated from Calvin College in 2008 with a Bachelors of Science in Business and Urban Planning. Soon after, he entered the construction industry in Michigan installing interior trim and then made the move to high end custom cabinetry, which has been his passion since. His years of on site experience installing cabinetry and working with many other trades gives him a unique and well rounded perspective when it comes to project management.

Andrew and his wife have three daughters and can be found enjoying the many local beaches of Wilmington when not at work.
